Lilies of the Field "Do Not Labor or Spin."

“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.  Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.  If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Matthew  6:28-30

I love growing lilies and watching them grow and bloom! Seeing them in my garden always make me think of these verses. (I realize the pink flower is a petunia, but it was already in this picture collage.)

  4. This scripture is a good reminder of the love of God, the beauty He created... and the fact that I don't need to concentrate on clothes and "things"... He will provide what is needed, especially as I trust and rely on Him.

  6. Hi Ann,
I love nature and I really love how God has dressed up our earth. All the different colours and designs are so beautiful. When I read this verse I always think about how different and more vibrant the colours will be in heaven.

    Beautiful pictures!
