Honey for the Heart: Acceptable in Thy Sight

Welcome to
...where I share different verses from the Psalms!
May you find truths about God, yourselves, and living life in the images and word pictures shared here!
Meditation is a function of the mind and the heart. It is what we think about in our hearts and it is something we each do every day. Whether we realize it or not, we all spend a large portion of our time in some form of meditation. The thing is, what we meditate on may or may not be pleasing to God.

What do you most often find yourself thinking about? What do you meditate on?

My prayer today for myself and for all believers...Psalm 19:14

  2. One of our trusted professors at Bible school, told us the best way to meditate on the scriptures is to mutter them to yourself. Hearing ourselves say the scriptures was a way to increase faith. Faith cometh by HEARING and hearing ourselves say God's Word. May our thoughts and intentions of our heart always be pleasing to God. Loved your duck picture. thank you for sharing with us here at Tell me a Story.

  3. Right now I find myself meditating a lot on scripture. Memorizing it has always been hard for me, but I am finding if I really picture it in my head (the words and the meaning) it comes much more easily!
