Satan Is Alive and Well Today

If you hadn't noticed, Satan is alive and doing well today in this world. In fact, he's been very busy at work as the 

1. chief of the demons 
2. accuser
3. adversary 
4. deceiver
5. destroyer
6. devourer
7. enemy
8. father of contention
9. father of lies
10. founder of murder
11. prince of darkness
12. slanderer
13. spoiler
14. tempter
15. and much more...

And there's a battle going on between good and evil.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE IN THE HEAVENLIES
(Eph. 6:12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

(Eph. 1:21)Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

Other verses that confirm that Satan is at work:

2 Corinthians 4:4

In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Daniel 8:25

And through his shrewdness He will cause deceit to succeed by his influence; And he will magnify himself in his heart, And he will destroy many while they are at ease. He will even oppose the Prince of princes, But he will be broken without human agency.

2 Corinthians 4:4

in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

2 Corinthians 11:14
…for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 

2 Thessalonians 2:9-10

Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.

1 John 3:8

Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil

Satan doesn't work alone, either. He has lots of help:
2 Timothy 3:13

But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Deuteronomy 13:1

...some worthless men have gone out from among you and have seduced the inhabitants of their city, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods'.

Matthew 24:24

For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

Matthew 7:15

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

Acts 20:30                                                                 
and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. 

Isaiah 3:12                                                                    
Those who guide you lead you astray And confuse the direction of your paths

When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road

I know, O LORD, that a man's way is not in himself, Nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps

Proverbs 14:12

There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

Jeremiah 50:6

My people have become lost sheep; Their shepherds have led them astray They have made them turn aside on the mountains;

Mark 4:15

And these are the ones along the path, where the word is sown: when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in them.

2 Timothy 4:3

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires.

4:2 Peter 2:3
Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

Proverbs 12:26

The righteous is a guide to his neighbor, But the way of the wicked leads them astray.

Isaiah 30:1

Woe to the rebellious children," declares the LORD, "Who execute a plan, but not Mine, And make an alliance, but not of My Spirit, In order to add sin to sin;

Hebrews 3:7-11

Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, "TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS..."THEREFORE I WAS ANGRY WITH THIS GENERATION, AND SAID, 'THEY ALWAYS GO ASTRAY IN THEIR HEART, AND THEY DID NOT KNOW MY WAYS'; AS I SWORE IN MY WRATH, 'THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST.'"

What does the Lord say we are to do with these evil ones?
Matthew 25:41

Then He will also say to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;

Jeremiah 23:1-2

"Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture!" declares the LORD. Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the shepherds who are tending My people: "You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them; behold, I am about to attend to you for the evil of your deeds," declares the LORD.

Jeremiah 6:16...they said, 'We will not walk in it.'

Matthew 15:14                                                                           Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.

Luke 8:21

My mother and My brothers (and children) are these who hear the word of God and do it.

My Prayer for the lost sheep, my family and loved ones.

John 17:1

"I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.

2 Timothy 2:26

and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

John 12:35                                                                        
Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going

Acts 26:18

to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.

Colossians 1:13

…deliver {them} from the domain of darkness and transferred {them} to the kingdom of His beloved Son,

Luke 4:10-11

that He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you, and on their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.

Matthew 6:13
And do not lead {them} into temptation, but deliver {them} from evil.

I'm reminded of the end result of satan!

Romans 16:20

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet

Revelation 20:10                                                                       …and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

I'm also reminded of the power, given us by God, to overcome evil.

We have been given all power and all authority over all of the works of the enemy. We must direct that power and authority directly against any enemies who come against us. 

Luke 10:19

Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.

Matthew 16:23

But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God's interests, but man's.

Prayers and commands:

• Spirit of fear and confusion, I command you out of my life (or out of the life of your child or loved one). In the name of Jesus, I bind your works and your strategies from hindering me with fear. I plead the blood of Jesus, and I declare that greater is Christ in me than all of the power of the enemy. Because I am a child of God, the evil one cannot touch me. (It could be a spirit of infirmity, rebellion, lust, insatiable desires, fear, panic, or other spirit.)  

• Father, In JESUS Name, I break and loose myself from all witchcraft curses and evil and demons being sent to me and my family. As your war club (Jeremiah 51:20-23) and weapons of war, I break in pieces the walls of protection that the satanists and witches have put up and I return the evil and demons back to them. Exodus 22:18 I send the judgment of God to the satanists and witches sending anything our way, in JESUS Name. I heap coals from the altar of God upon their foreheads in JESUS Name. I cover me and my family with the Blood of JESUS and ask for warring angels to be placed around us for protection. I break and loose us from psychic power, thoughts and prayers. I break and loose us from words spoken in hurt, anger, sorrow or bitterness. I break and loose us from the power of incense and candles being burned on our behalf. I break and loose us from ungodly intercessory prayers in JESUS Name. Amen.

• Father, I come before you in JESUS' name, and I thank you for giving me all power and all authority over all demons. I cover myself in the blood of JESUS. I cover all my family members in the blood of JESUS. I thank you for your giant warring angels that are surrounding us, protecting us from all harm of the enemy. I take my authority and I attack from the third Heaven, and I bind the strongman over my mind, will, emotions, and over my home, in JESUS' name. I command you to leave this area now in JESUS' name. I bind up every demon that was sent to me, transferred to me, or followed me, and I command you to come out of my conscious, subconscious, unconscious mind, all parts of my body, will, emotions, and personality, in JESUS' name.

• Start thanking God for “those things which do not exist as though they did” (Rom. 4:17, nkjv) in the person’s life, even though you acknowledge their faults and problems. It is important to thank God for beginning to change things that are not into what they can be in Christ as we stand in agreement with God’s Word.

As we fight this battle, there are times I may grow weary and want to give up. But, with the Lord's strength and power, I pray I am able to stay at it! Lord, give me strength!!!!
