On a Journey{And I'm taking a break}

I'm about to embark on a journey, but not the kind of journey that requires getting on a plane or in a car.  The kind of journey I speak about is one of spiritual growth and my walk with the Lord.

We each have a unique  Christ-centered spiritual journey that we must go through in our lives, in order to become more like Him.  Each of our journey may be similar through the common stages we each travel spiritually.

Lately, I have struggled with some very deep and heart-wrenching family situations that have demanded more time, not only from me to be available, but I've also felt a great need to spend more time in prayer.

"But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul." Deut. 4:29

In the 2 and a half years that I have been blogging, I have never taken a "real" blogging break. I have sometimes un-officially not posted on my blog because of time limits or not having access to my blog to write. So, I do believe this break is much needed. I also hope to take some of the time off to re-vamp my blog look. It has been a long time since I have changed the look on either of my blogs, so depending on how much time it will take and how much time I will be on my break, I hope to also return with a whole new look. As I'm not sure how long my blogging break will be, I will keep everyone up to date by sharing on here and posting it both on my Facebook page and Google+So please stay connected!

"In the midst of your journey, whatever the season, seek to align yourself with God." source

Part of my journey will include some intense time of prayer for my family members: Here are some of the calendars and prayer plans that I'm considering using. Have you ever used a similar plan or recommend a book to read for an intense spiritual/prayer journey?

I'm sharing, once again, some blessings that the Lord has provided and gifted me over the last few weeks. Most of it, as you will see, has to do with how God has been preparing my heart for to walk with Him on this journey that I will be embarking on.  Linking up with  "Multitude on Mondays" blog hop over at "A Holy Experience".  Also, even though I won't be posting my list, while on my blog break, I will continue to count my blessings and plan to share from my list, once I return to blogging.
1,665 - Being able to do "outside" activities for the weekend....like putting out some of our pier, in preparation for the warm weather to come.
1,666 - Waiting for His timing for making "everything beautiful"
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end." Eccl. 3:11
1,667 - I look forward to more time seeking the Lord and learning where He will supply, so that I will lack NOTHING!

 1,668  - I'm also told that I don't have to work so hard at doing or saying the right things. Sometimes He calls me to just "be still".

1,669  - Even though God may be using me in different ways to reach others for Him....Picture
1,670 - I am reminded in the quote below that we are all on a journey...and if that journey is "with" God, we will grow.
