Seek the Lord. . .

Isaiah 55:6

All too often we think we have plenty of time to turn to God and live for Him. But this verse reminds us that there will be a day when it will be too late. We should never take for granted that we are in the end times and that our time on earth is short. I'm so glad that we can still call on our Lord today and He hears us and answers.

Blessings to you all this weekend!

  1. Looks like we're neighbors at Still Saturday -- you linked just before me. Love the Scripture you've chosen for today. We really must be constant in our seeking. Otherwise, we find ourselves distracted and turning in the wrong direction. Love that you are an Ann Voskamp fan too!

    1. Hi, Sherrey. So glad you stopped over to read my post! I also read your scripture photo and was reminded of a worship song with those words in it. And yes, I absolutely love Ann Voskamp's writing and her website! She has been such an inspiration to me!

  2. After so much sadness, in the last couple of days, it's a blessing to be here.
May the families and friends of the shooting know continued strength and love. In Jesus' name, Amen!

  3. You know, as I wrote posted this, I also thought about the Colorado shooting and how one surviving couple that was interviewed said how it made them think how short and precious life is. Unfortunately they left God out of the interview. I pray the same prayer, that families and loved ones find God's peace in all the loss!
